@xgerman that is true but I think I read somewhere that Iran oil is like 30% of the market and taking that off the market would DOUBLE the price of crude oil since supply and demand are evenly matched.
All the same arguments made about why we should invade Iraq in 2003 are being re-used for a justification to invade Iran.
Sometimes by the SAME PEOPLE. There are no consequences for being wrong in this country, when your opinions serve the ruling class
Read The Jakarta Method. For fuck's sake..
Watching liberals screech about how Trump made a political speech at Fort Bragg and how "that's illegal" and quoting some DoD directive that says it's a no-no for the military to be political, and how it's only under Trump that this precious, completely perfect institution has been ruined by Trump and someone needs to do something about it!
Liberals just don't get it. They think everyone is their friend, that every institution will save them.
> How extensive is the violence of the protests?

> basic claude search suggests the overall level of violence is moderate
Why are people asking LLMs shit like this
@nat /r/dataisugly submission right there
@oreoteeth agree. I am hoping that it was someone reading aloud someone else's take in order to critique it but who knows.
Overhead in Rittenhouse Square: "The most efficient form of government is a benevolent dictatorship"
Gavin Newsom is going to have Tom Homan on his dumbass podcast like "thanks for coming on and thanks for sending the National Guard" isn't he?
Tearing my hair out, rending my garments, because Trump and Musk no longer are getting along. All is lost.
@Nerde @carnage4life why are we elevating Michael Steele
We've now entered the smug "listen up cockwaffle, if you're not using an LLM to help you code, you're going to be left behind" era of posts.
Democrats would rather die than fight fascism
Democrats would rather appoint terminal cancer patients (Connolly, Biden) than anyone who would actually fight back against fascism (AOC, Bernie)
@acm_redfox absolutely. I guess The difference is that I give more credence to people who wrote those "lazier" sources that there are good faith actors trying to be accurate, as opposed to a machine
I cope by thinking that maybe it wasn't Google and Wikipedia specifically that were the issue, but that there would be a logical endpoint further down the line (LLMs) that while they couldn't know exactly what it would be, they knew the end result.
More information than has ever been collected in our entire history, at everyone's fingertips, and everyone wants a incorrect summary from a delusional machine
Hell I remember them being pissed about people using cliffnotes because they kept making us read meh books for summer reading. (It got in the way of the scifi books I wanted to read)
